The City of Miami Gardens 3rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration. The theme was UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY on Monday Januaru 15, 2007 at the Coral City Park in Miami Florida.

Depicting in the picture above is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sitting in a Birmingham Jail cell on April 12, 1963. Dr. King was arrested after demonstrating in defiance of a court order. While Dr. KIng was there he wrote a powerful letter which call "Letter From Birmingham Jail". This eloquent letter, later widely circulated and became a classic of the Civil-rights movement. Early in 1960 Dr. King was sentanced to four months in jail, but after intervention by John Kennedy and Robert Kennedy, he was released.
